The original idea is to offer the client the possibility of designing their own stool. You will be able to choose, between the different colors and woods, the best combination for your environment.
It is 100% made in USA in the traditional carpenter way with tenon and mortise, dowels and first grade adhesives.
All you have to do is remove the packaging and enjoy this fine work of art!!!
The wood we offer are: walnut, mahogany, cherry, hard maple and white oak
The finishes are: distressed, lacquer and oil (Rubio Monocoat)
The lacquer finish is the traditional furniture finish. It is very durable and resistant. It consists of sanding down the wood and applying two coats of industrial sealer and two coats of satin lacquer. I use Gemini Vinyl Sealer and lacquer.
Distressed consists of wearing down the wood & marking it in ways to make it look old, we also apply wax for protection
A third option is oil finish, I use Rubio Monocoat. It has the same performance as the lacquer. It makes a beautiful flat finish and enhances the grain making them darker.
